Parents often struggle to find trustworthy babysitters with verified backgrounds, while qualified babysitters lack a reliable platform to access job opportunities. Existing solutions frequently lack transparency, proper verification systems, and localized trust mechanisms.
The Goal
Build a secure, mobile-first childcare platform that enables parents to discover trusted babysitters while creating employment opportunities for verified caregivers across Canada, starting from Newfoundland.
My Role
Lead mobile engineer responsible for application architecture, authentication flows, onboarding systems, API integration, real-time communication planning, and trust-focused user experience implementation.
